Position Title: Medical Physicist

Department:Cancer Center
Position Description: Under indirect supervision, provides professional medical physics services for a principal radiation oncology service . Evaluates and interprets medical radiation treatment prescriptions. Collaborates with medical providers in the design and modification of effective radiation treatments for patients; oversees and monitors treatment plans developed by Dosimetrists, and participates in development and execution of equipment monitoring, calibration, and safety surveys.

Qualifications:
Education:Master's Degree in Radiation Therapeutic Medical Physics or equivalent field required
Experience:2-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Special Skills:Expreience with new installation & IGRT
License Required:Board eligible or Board Certified as Medical Physicist (ABR, ABMP, or equivalent)
